F LETTER became an icon of anti-state Russian activism upon its publication in November 2020, supported by Gloria Steinem and named one of the all time greatest works of Russian literature by Calvert Journal. It was the first ever anthology of Russian feminist poetry in any language. Many of its poets are amongst this week’s anti-war demonstrators to be arrested in Russia.
