Christian Robinson is one of my favourite illustrators. Here, Robinson plays author too. Another is wordless cascade of images: a girl and her adorable cat enter through a portal to another world—and then another portal, and then another. Along the way, they meet slightly altered versions of themselves and many others too. White space leaves room for the reader to take the narrative into her own hands, to think and create alongside the protagonists. Another is a beautiful and thoughtful addition to any children's library. -RG
