Shipping + In-Store Pickup Information

FREE SHIPPING WITHIN ONTARIO FOR ORDERS OVER $150!

 GENERAL INFORMATION 

We offer flat-rate shipping within Canada, and local delivery within downtown Toronto. Free in-store pickup is available at all three TYPE locations. The options available to you are based on your location, and will appear under the "Delivery" drop-down menu at checkout. 

ORDER PROCESSING, PICK-UP,  AND SHIPPING TIMES

• Same day pickup is available for orders placed over the phone only
• Orders placed online are available for pickup within 5-7 business days (please wait until you have received a pickup notification via email)
• Online orders requiring shipping are processed within 10 business days; you will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped (please note that this time is in addition to the delivery time required by our couriers)
• Local deliveries are made once a week, through the wonderful people and bikes at Send It Courier. In rare cases, we reserve the right to ship via Purolator/UPS (at no extra cost to you), depending on courier availability. 

When will I get my books?!

All orders are processed and shipped from our Secret Storage Facility in west Toronto. Orders are generally packed up and ready to ship within 5 days of receiving your order, but please refer to the delivery methods below for specific information regarding processing and general shipping times. 

IN-STORE PICKUP

Online orders may be picked up at any of our locations, during regular business hours. Please select your preferred location in the Delivery menu upon checkout. You will be notified via email when your order is ready to be picked up. Please have your order number ready when you arrive. 

It takes up to 5-7 business days to have your order transferred from our Secret Storage Facility to your desired pickup location. Please wait until you have received a confirmation email before coming to pick up your order.

IMPORTANT: If you would like to pick up a book the same day, it is best to call the store nearest you and have our staff put it on hold (if the book is in stock) rather than placing an order online.

 FLAT RATE SHIPPING

It takes 7-10 business days for us to process and pack your order. The estimated delivery dates shown below refer to the additional amount of time it will take once your order leaves our Secret Storage Facility.

 LOCAL DELIVERY

• Local delivery $8

If your shipping address is within our delivery zone, the option for Local Delivery will appear in the Delivery menu at checkout. If this option does not appear, it means you are outside of our delivery zone. In this case, please choose from either flat rate shipping or in-store pickup.

Deliveries are generally made once a week. Please note that it may take 7-10 business days from the time you placed your order for your order to be delivered. This schedule is subject to change due to order volume and driver availability.
