TRAVELLING CACTUS GARDEN

Type Books' new window is an ode to things that grow

Type's window design genius Kalpna Patel took refuge in the warm, green, humid environment of Toronto's Allan Gardens Conservatory all winter long. She found inspiration growing all around her, and the Travelling Cactus Garden was born. Kalpna got to work creating a handmade, three-dimensional paper and cardboard recreation of some of the Gardens' cacti and succulents, and a little imagined plant life too.

The Garden will grow and pop up around the city throughout the year, and you can follow it around Toronto at #CactusGardenTO. Want to book or host the garden? Contact Kalpna at oldweston@gmail.com.
